Snakes is the only game available with Nokia N73 and I didn’t played it until recently. I downloaded some other free games and didn’t bother about the "Snakes". I thought it will be a bad game but I was completely wrong. As I formatted my phone recently all the other games were gone and I was forced to play Snake for a while. It turned out to be a good game and it was really addictive. The game play is excellent and the new 3D plane for moving around the snake  is good. The graphics is excellent when considering it is a free game. The game has 37 levels with increasing difficulty.

Finally, I completed the game and I could see the end credits - but there is enough replayability as you can try to increase the points. The game allows you to start from the previous completed levels which is a good thing. After completion, the blue screen changed to red color. It is also nice as I can always just show it to my friends and say, " See, I’ve completed it !".

If you have n’t tried this game yet, I am recommending you to start playing. It is really addictive.

Hello all,

Just a while ago I did some search and accidentally go to a site named http://n73-software.info. I was really shocked to see the content in that site. It is just a copy paste of the contents in this site. The post title, the body, the images all are the same. He didn’t even bothered to create new title.

People are really welcome to write about N73 or anything they want, but copy pasting from another site is really bad. I have made some effort to publish this content in my site and people need to respect it.

Some friends mailed me asking how to change the left and right soft selection key shortcuts in the active standby mode. Also how to change the active standby applications. Here are the answers.

By default, the left selection key () is shortcut to Messaging and the right selection key () to Clock. But you can change the shortcut at any time to other useful applications.

Nokia doesn’t limit the shortcut to default Nokia applications, but we can launch any installed application from the soft key shortcuts. To change the shortcut,

Go to Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> Phone -> Standby Mode

Here you can see the Left Selection Key and Right Selection key.

Select that option and choose the application you want. For eg: I have selected the SpotOn (to make my phone a torch lite) as the left selection key and the right left selection key as Clock.

Other options you can change here is the Active stand by mode status. You can turn it off or on. You can also decide which applications to be listed in the standby mode by going to the option Active standby apps. You can select six applications for the active standby mode.
